  • Su unidad de medida principal es el GRAMO

La masa en el día a día

¿DÓNDE UTILIZAMOS LAS UNIDADES DE MASA EN NUESTRA VIDA COTIDIANA?

EN LA COCINA

Para hacer una receta de cocina necesitamos unidades de masa, por ejemplo:

- 5 gramos de azúcar

- 1 kg de avellanas

- 1/4 kg de mantequilla

EL PESO CORPORAL

Cuando nos pesamos en una báscula, donde veremos el peso en Kilogramos.

HACER LA COMPRA

Cuando vamos a comprar:


Por favor, ¿me pones 1/2 kg de fresas?

Así pues:

1 kg = 1000 g

1 g = 1000 mg

100 cg = 1 g

Y así sucesivamente...

1/2 KG Y EL 1/4 KG

¿QUÉ ES 1/2 KG?

Esto se lee como ''medio kilo'' y significa ''la mitad de un kg'', es decir, 1kg lo dividimos en dos partes iguales.


Así pues:
1 kg = 1000 g
1/2 kg = 500 g

¿Qué es el 1/4 de kg?

¿Qué es 1/4 kg?

Se lee como ''un cuarto de kilogramo'' y es lo mismo que la cuarta parte de un kg, es decir, 1kg lo dividimos en 4 partes iguales.


Así pues:
1kg = 1000 g
1/4 de kg = 250 g

Un ejemplo sencillo

1. Coge un folio e imagina que es 1kg (1000 g)

2. Ahora, dóblalo por la mitad (cada una de sus mitades será 1/2 kg = 500 g)


3. Por último, coge una de las mitades y dóblala en otra mitad. Esto se convierte en el 1/4 kg = 250 g)
