Teoria sobre la influencia social.

Fue propuesta por Perez y Mugny en 1993.

Esta teoria presta atención al significado que se da ante la divergencia con la fuente, dando lugar a distintos patrones de influencia (manifiesta o latente)

También concede importancia al contexto, a la tarea implicada y a la representación, creencias o conocimientos que la persona se hace de ella. La tarea puede implicar unicidad o pluralidad.

Clasifica las tareas según 2 dimensiones: alta o baja relevancia del error (determinar si una alternativa es correcta o no) y el anclaje social (en qué medida la tarea tiene implicaciones sociales)

Es decir,la influencia surge del significado que el individuo da a la divergencia, entre su posición y la de las fuentes (mayoritarias o minoritarias,expertas o no,del endo o exogrupo) y del tipo de tarea
