Conceptualización

Un tejido (del latín texere = tejer) es un conjunto de células, matriz extracelular, y fluido corporal. Las células de un tejido cooperan para llevar a cabo una o varias funciones en un organismo. Estas células se relacionan entre si mediante interacciones directas entre ellas o mediadas por las moléculas que se encuentran entre ellas y que forman la matriz extracelular.

CLASIFICACION DE LOS TEJIDOS DE LOS ANIMALES

Existen cuatro tipos principales de tejidos: Epitelial, conectivo, muscular y nervioso.

Los dos primeros están formados por células poco diferenciadas y que conservan su capacidad de división.

Las células que forman los dos últimos están muy diferenciadas y han perdido la capacidad de división
