INTERIOR DE LA TERRA

L'interior de la terra, es divideix en capes segons les seves propietats químiques i físiques que les diferencien entre sí.

 

La terra es divideix en 3 grans zones concèntriques:

 

NUCLI: La Part més interna, representa el 15%  del volum total de la terra.  Principalment per ferro i també níquel, sofre i altres. Te 2 parts:

        Nucli intern,  estat sòlid.

        Nucli extern, amb materials fosos.

 

MANTELL: representa el 84% del volum total de la terra, hi ha materials fosos com el magma.

ESCORÇA: capa més externa, representa 1% del volum total. Formada principalment per roques basàltiques i granítiques.

AGENTS INTERNS RELLEU

Els agents interns.- Les forces internes de la Terra o agents interns provoquen els terratrèmols i els volcans.

ELS TERRATREMOLS són sacsejades que s’originen a l’interior de la Terra i es propaguen en forma d’ones sísmiques. 

Es distingeixen 2 zones:

Hipocentre: zona interior de la terra on s'origina

Epicentre: zona de la superficie terrestre més a prop de l'hipocentre o lloc d'orígen

 

ELS VOLCANS són profunds clevills a l’escorça terrestre pels quals puja el magma. Aquest magma pot sortir a l’exterior en forma d’erupció volcànica.

En les erupcions volcàniques s’expulsen gasos, cendra, pedres i lava incandescent. Aquests materials, en contacte amb l’aire, es refreden i formen els anomenats cons volcànics
