El seguimiento es la actividad de verificación en el que las unidades auditadas atienden en los términos y plazos acordados, las recomendaciones preventivas y correctivas planteadas en las cédulas de observaciones

Los entes auditados no deben informar sobre las medidas adoptadas para atender las recomendaciones generadas.

Los auditores deben contar con un sistema interno que permita dar un adecuado seguimiento a las acciones de los entes auditados sobre las observaciones y recomendaciones presentadas
