Explicación

Recuerda que el Verb to be es ser/estar y son "Am, Is, Are"

En el "Verb to be" Am, Is y Are son para presente, Was y Were también son "verb to be" pero en pasado. Trata de aprenderte esa diferencia, uno es para presente y el otro en pasado. Otra cosa, siempre cuando es pasado en la frase vienen palabras como "yesterday, last weekend, last night", si vienen ese tipo de palabras es seguro que es pasado.

Si es Verb to be past porque viene "was" y viene la palabra "yesterday". Además de estar bien formulada.

Recuerda que en el Verb to be present se utiliza "Am, Is, Are" y si es en forma negativa se l agrega el "not"

Se les pone a "I, she, he, it" a todos ellos es por ello que la mejor respuesta es la "A"

Recuerda que primero se ve si es en presente o en pasado, en este caso se pide en pasado entonces se busca el sujeto para determinar si es was o were, como es "he" entonces sería was, pero lo pide de forma negativa entonces se le agrega el "not"

Para they se utiliza are y were, pero dice last weekend entonces se refiere a algo del pasado es por ello que sería were

Aquí la oración está en presente por lo tanto es are
