"Living" works as the subject of the sentence.

“Surprised” = how we felt (reaction).

"Was" + past participle forms passive → "was sent".

"Moved" shows her emotional reaction to the speech

After prepositions like “for,” always use -ING.

Jogging" is the subject of the sentence (noun = gerund)

"Avoid” is a verb that is followed by a gerund.

Boring” describes the lecture – it caused people to feel bored.
