فائدة إعادة التدوير ليست في إعطاء المصانع سمعة، ولا في كون كلفته مرتفعة، ولكن لأنه يسبب تقليل النفايات ذات الخطر على البيئة.

الصيد الجائر لا يؤدي إلى زيادة الحيوانات، لأنه إنقاص منها بشكل عشوائي، ولا يغير طعمها، بل يؤدي لانقراضها.

التحلية لا تخفض مياه الأنهار بل توفرها؛ لأننا نعيد استهلاك المياه غير النقية من خلاله، هذا هو سبب كونه جيدا؛ لا أنه موضة جديدة.

لا علاقة للسيارات وغازاتها بانتشار البعوض، والانتقال إلى النقل العام لا يلوث المياه، بل يحسن جودة الهواء ونقاءه
