Cows are domesticated animals mainly found in rural areas where there is plenty of grass and water. They provide milk, meat, and leather. Cows prefer open spaces for grazing and need shade and water sources for comfort and health.

Frogs are amphibians living both in water and on land. They need freshwater habitats for like wetlands for breeding and survival. Their moist skin allows them to absorb oxygen and stay hydrated, making them indicators of a healthy environment.

Bees are vital pollinators, helping plants reproduce. They live in colonies with a queen, workers, and drones. Their hives provide shelter, and they collect nectar from flowers to make honey, playing a crucial role in maintaining ecosystems.

Camels survive in hot, dry climates due to their ability to store fat in their humps, which converts to water and energy. They are called “ships of the desert” as they can travel long distances with minimal water.

Whales are marine mammals living entirely in water. They breathe through lungs and come to the surface to inhale air. Some species, like blue whales, are the largest animals on Earth. They migrate long distances, feed on krill or fish, and play a key role in maintaining ocean ecosystems.

Bats are nocturnal mammals that use echolocation to find food. They help control insect populations and some species pollinate flowers. They roost in dark, quiet places like caves or tree hollows during the day.

Crabs are crustaceans living in salty or brackish water. Some species live in freshwater or on land but near water sources. They are scavengers, cleaning up dead plants and animals in their habitats.

Polar bears depend on sea ice for hunting seals, their main food. Climate change threatens their habitat as melting ice reduces hunting grounds, making them vulnerable to starvation and habitat loss.

Lions primarily inhabit the savannah, where they play a crucial role as apex predators in the ecosystem maintaining the balance of herbivore populations. They need large territories with prey like zebras and antelopes and access to water sources.

Penguins are amazing birds that cannot fly but are excellent swimmers. 🐧 They have a thick layer of feathers and fat to keep them warm in cold places. Most penguins live in the Southern Hemisphere, especially in Antarctica, where it is icy and snowy. Some species also live on rocky islands and along the coasts of South America, Africa, and New Zealand. Their habitat gives them plenty of cold water to catch fish, squid, and krill—their favorite food!
