Doctor: So, Mr Bonetti, I can see you’ve had a bit of an accident. Can you start by telling me what happened? Patient: Sure. I was on a ladder getting some things from the attic when I lost my balance and fell.

I hit my elbow against the bannister and banged my head on the floor. The elbow was really painful at first – like a sort of throbbing – but it’s a bit better now.

I’ve got this big bruise on my forehead though, which I’m a bit worried about because it’s almost black and it seems to be getting bigger.

Doctor: Yes, that does look quite nasty. We’ll get it checked out as soon as possible. Do you feel dizzy at all? Patient: No, I felt a bit faint right after the accident but I’m all right now.
