Explicación

De acuerdo con la regla del gerundio ING, este verbo "Run" tiene una sola sílaba, por lo tanto, duplicamos la última consonante "n" y nos queda "running"

Como el verbo termina en una -e muda, en este caso la eliminamos del verbo y le agregamos la terminación -ing., por lo tanto queda making

Recuerda que los verbos de una sola sílaba, en el presente continuo, duplicamos la última consonante y agregamos el -ing., por lo tanto, el verbo "sit" conjugado en el present continuous queda "sitting"

Aquellos verbos que terminan en -ie, al conjugarlos en el Present Continuous, sustituimos esta terminación por "y" y agregamos el gerundio -ing., entonces con el verbo "lie" en el Present Continuous queda "Lying".

Recuerda: aquellos verbos que terminan en -e muda (es decir, que no se pronuncia esta letra en el verbo), sustituimos esta -e, por el gerundio -ing., para el caso de "dance" queda "dancing".
