A Trip That Changed Everything
Last summer, Laura went on a trip to Spain. She was very excited because it was her first time traveling alone. Before she arrived in Madrid, she had already prepared everything carefully. She had booked her hotel, she had packed her suitcase, and she had even studied a little Spanish.
When she got to the airport, she realized she had forgotten her passport at home. Luckily, her brother came quickly with it, so she could check in. By the time she entered the plane, the other passengers had already taken their seats.
In Madrid, Laura visited many beautiful places. She went to the Prado Museum and the Royal Palace. She also walked through the old streets and tried delicious food. She remembered that she had read about churros before the trip, so she was happy when she finally tasted them.
One day, she got lost in the city. She felt nervous at first, but then she realized she had downloaded an offline map on her phone. Thanks to that, she found her way back to the hotel.
When the trip ended, Laura felt proud. She had learned many things about Spanish culture, and she had met new friends from different countries. She thought about all the things she had done before the journey—how nervous she had been, how many times she had imagined the trip—and she smiled. Traveling alone was not easy, but it gave her confidence and unforgettable memories.
