A right angle measures exactly 90° and represents a perfect corner, like the angle in a square.

An obtuse angle is larger than a right angle but smaller than a straight one, meaning its measure is between 90° and 180°.

Complementary angles are two angles whose measures add up to 90°. They complete a right angle when combined.

The size of the angles depends on how the lines intersect. If they form a right angle, each is 90°, but they could form other equal pairs too.

The exterior angle (130°) equals the sum of the two opposite interior angles. So, 130° = 40° + B → B = 90°. Then, the remaining angle C = 180° − (40° + 90°) = 50°.

Because AB = AC the base angles are equal: 2𝑥+10 = 𝑥+30 ⇒ 𝑥=20 x+10 = x+30 ⇒ x=20. Then 𝐵=2(20)+10 = 50° B=2(20)+10=50°. Finally 𝐴=180° −(50° + 50) °= 80° A=180°−(50°+50°)=80°.
