سعيد تعني فرحان ومسرور، بينما حزين غضبان، والمتعجّب يظهر الدهشة، والغاضب يفتقد الفرح.

الجملة الاسمية تبدأ باسم وتخبر عنه، مثل 'القمر جميل'. الجمل الثلاث الأخرى فعلية.

الطاولة هي سطح مستوٍ نستخدمه لوضع الأشياء، أما الخيارات الأخرى فتشير لأشياء مختلفة.

الجملة التي تبدأ بفعل وتُظهر حدوثاً هي فعلية. باقيها اسمية.

المفعول به هو ما وقع عليه فعل الفاعل، وليست الفاعل أو المبتدأ أو الخبر.

الضمير يستبدل اسمًا مذكورًا، أما الصفات والصوت فهي ليست بدلالته الأساسية.

المبتدأ هو الجزء الذي يبدأ الجملة الاسمية ويشير إلى موضوع الجملة.

المفرد يشير لشيء واحد، والجمع لعدة أشياء.

الجملة الخبرية تخبر عن حالة أو خبر، مثل 'السماء صافية'.
