El logaritmo responde a la pregunta: ¿cuántas veces se multiplica la base para obtener el número? Por ejemplo, log 8=3 porque 2×2×2=8 2

El logaritmo base 10 de 1000 es 3 porque 10×10×10=1000 . Se multiplica 10 tres veces.

Como 5×5=25, el logaritmo indica que se multiplica 5 dos veces. Por eso log5 25=2 .

Los logaritmos están relacionados con los exponentes.

Porque 5^1 =5, entonces el número que falta es 5.
