El camarero te mira fijamente mientras sostiene una jarra de cristal: 'Tengo exactamente 2.4 litros de agua helada en esta jarra y debo repartirla equitativamente en 8 vasos sin que sobre ni una gota. ¿Cuántos mililitros exactos debo verter en cada vaso?'

'Observa este vaso de 600 ml lleno de agua', dice el camarero. 'Si un cliente bebe primero la mitad del contenido, y luego bebe la mitad de lo que quedaba, ¿cuánta agua permanece en el vaso?'

'Nuestra máquina de hielo es lenta pero precisa', comenta el camarero. 'Produce 5 cubitos de hielo cada 12 minutos. Si abrimos en 2 horas, ¿Cuántos cubitos tendré listos para entonces?'
