A Busy Day in the City

Last Saturday, I met my friend Laura at 9:00 a.m. in front of the bus station. We decided to spend the day together in the city center. First, we walked across the main street and went into a small café near the park.

We stayed there for thirty minutes and talked about our plans for the afternoon. At 10:00 a.m., we left the café and went to the museum. The museum is next to the library and behind the old theater. To get there, we walked along Green Street and turned left at the traffic lights.

In the museum, we saw many beautiful paintings and took photos. We had lunch at a restaurant on River Road at 1:30 p.m. The restaurant was between a bank and a bookstore.

After lunch, we walked through the park and sat under a big tree. We talked until 5:00 p.m. and then went back to the bus station. Laura lives far from the city, so she takes the bus in the evening.

It was a simple day, but everything happened on time and in the right place. We really enjoyed being together and discovering new places.
