The QTR is applied prior to supplier nomination and aims to ensure the supplier’s suitability as a contractual partner.

The presentation shall cover all topics of the QTR questionnaire with appropriate evidence, including production and development services.

The QTR is interdisciplinary and is reviewed cross-functionally by the key areas.

Unapproved delays may lead to exclusion from the awarding process.

The development services required for parts and software components are also taken into account.

The result may be ‘eligible without conditions’, ‘eligible with conditions’, or ‘not eligible’, based on the interdisciplinary evaluation.”

The conditions shall be implemented by the supplier and monitored in the subsequent maturity level assurance.
