Explicación

Una matriz se forma con múltiples renglones y columnas, como se explica en las notas sobre matrices.

El tamaño se indica como filas por columnas, tal como se muestra en los ejemplos de tipos de matrices.

Una fila tiene una sola fila y varias columnas.

Una columna tiene varias filas y una única columna.

La matriz identidad tiene 1s en la diagonal y 0s en el resto, como se menciona en las descripciones de matrices.

Intercambiar filas/columnas invierte el signo del determinante, tal como se explica en las propiedades de determinantes.

La suma consiste en añadir cada elemento correspondiente; ambas matrices deben ser del mismo tamaño.

Esta es la regla fundamental para la multiplicación de matrices.

El determinante de 2×2 es ad menos bc, tal como se enseña en determinantes.

Una matriz diagonal es cuadrada y solo tiene valores en la diagonal; fuera de ella, todo es cero.
