The ideal reaction here would be to do/say "I'll clarify with my employer and take a short rest". Like this you can recover your energy to keep working after a regenerative and deliberate break, whilst ensuring this is in line with the schedule set by your employer in order to maintain a positive and professional standard.

The ideal response here would be saying "Can we discuss this further?". Through this phrase, you can initiate a clarification discussion with your employer in order to come to agreements and understandings in work schedules and their changes in a manner that is respectful and should result in a fair and sustainable outcome.

The ideal reaction here would be to ask "May I have a clarification?". Like this, you are able to better understand the contract and can become aware of any loopholes or unfair agreements you may be being pulled into, which can be changed and corrected once you've better understood the contract details.
