Explicación

El shekere es un instrumento de percusión hecho con una calabaza seca cubierta de cuentas. Se toca agitándolo o golpeándolo, y el sonido lo producen las cuentas al chocar con la calabaza. Se usa para marcar el ritmo en la música y danzas africanas.

El gumbri es un instrumento de cuerda africano con una caja de madera y cuerdas gruesas. Se toca pulsando las cuerdas con los dedos, produciendo un sonido grave.

El toyi-toyi es una danza de protesta del sur de África. Consiste en cantar y mover el cuerpo rítmicamente, a veces marchando.

Nkosi Sikelel’ iAfrika es una canción de lucha y esperanza de África. Se cantaba contra la opresión y el apartheid. Hoy forma parte del himno nacional de Sudáfrica.
