Объяснение

del удаляет элемент по индексу. pop возвращает удалённое значение.

remove удаляет первый элемент равный x.

insert вставляет перед индексом i.

append добавляет один элемент в конец.

extend объединяет итерацию к списку.

del удаляет по индексу без возврата.

del среза удаляет диапазон элементов.

del удаляет пару по ключу в словаре.

remove: по значению, не возвращает; pop: по индексу или по значению, возвращает удалённое.

Срезом можно заменить на пустой список, effectively удаляя элемент.
