Explicació

Les radiacions electromagnètiques són energia que viatja com ones i és transportada sense mechanical energy.

L’EM combina camp elèctric i magnètic perpendiculars entre si i a la direcció de propagació.

La radiació ionitzant pot arrancar electrons de les molècules.

L’espectre recull RF, microones, visible, ultraviolada, etc.

Magnituds CEM: intensitat del camp elèctric (E), camp magnètic (H), densitat de flux magnètic (B) i densitat de potència (S).

L’optíc inclou UV, llum visible i IR.

Els làsers emeten radiació òptica en 200 nm a 1 mm.

Radiacions poden ionitzar o no ionitzar.

Freqüència f és cicles/segon.

Espanya segueix límits ICNIRP i normativa relacionada; RD 1066/2001 aplica per some aspects.
