Con dos letras distintas hay dos arreglos posibles: AB y BA.

3! = 3×2×1 = 6 formas posibles.

4! = 4×3×2×1 = 24.

3 estudiantes: 3! = 6 posibles órdenes.

4 elementos distintos generan 4! = 24 permutaciones.

El factorial n! cuenta todas las órdenes posibles de n objetos.

Permutaciones con repetición: 3!/2! = 3.

5! = 5×4×3×2×1 = 120.
