The angle sum property states that the interior angles of any triangle always add up to 180°, regardless of its type.

Since one angle is already 90°, the remaining two angles must sum to 90° to complete the 180° total.

The hypotenuse is always the side opposite the right angle and is the longest side of a right triangle.

In an equilateral triangle all three sides and all three angles are equal, so each angle measures 180° ÷ 3 = 60°.

The standard area formula for any triangle is ½ × base × height, where the height must be perpendicular to the base.
