En el desierto la lluvia es escasa durante todo el año.

El paisaje es árido y con poca vegetación.

Las temperaturas diurnas pueden ser muy altas, superando los 40°C.

La lejanía del mar reduce la humedad que llega al interior.

El viento puede levantar arena y formar tormentas.

Puede haber arena, rocas y suelo agrietado.

Los cactus almacenan agua para sobrevivir la sequía.

Muchos animales son nocturnos para evitar el calor extremo.

Hojas reducidas ayudan a minimizar la evaporación.

Se agrupan alrededor de fuentes de agua para sobrevivir.
