The theorem states that the sum of the lengths of any two sides must be greater than the third side. Since 7 + 10 = 17, and 17 is less than 18, the segments cannot close to form a triangle.

An exterior angle of a triangle is always equal to the sum of its two opposite (remote) interior angles. This property is very useful for finding missing angles without knowing all the interior values.

A triangle is classified as a "Right-angled triangle" if it contains one angle of exactly 90°. Since this triangle has a 90° angle, it fits this classification perfectly.
