الطلاق شرعاً هو رفع النكاح بلفظ مخصوص من الزوج أو وليه.

الطلاق الرجعي يمكن فيه للزوج مراجعة الزوجة خلال عدّتها.

البائن الكبرى يزيل أمكانية الرجوع إلا بعقد ومهر جديدين إذا تزوجت غيره وتطلق.

تختلف العدة حسب الوضع: الحامل، والطمأنينة، والطلاق الرجعي أو البائن.

الطلاق في الحيض غير صحيح شرعاً، ولا يقع إلا بعد الطهر.

الطلاق يقع بلفظ صريح مخصوص كقول: طلاقكِ توفّر.

الطلاق السني يحترم الشروط الشرعية والعدة، بينما البدعي مخالف لها.

الطلاق يجوز في رمضان ما دام ضمن الضوابط الشرعية.

إذا كان الزوج غير قادر على التصرف لسبب كمرض أو حجر لا يجوز الطلاق بدون إجراءات.

الطلاق النهائي يصير بإتمام العدة بنطاق طلاق البائن.
