La R mide la fuerza de la relación lineal entre Y y el conjunto de X.

Y es el resultado que buscamos predecir.

β0 es el valor inicial de Y cuando X1...Xn son 0.

βi muestra el efecto marginal de Xi en Y.

Se asume una relación aproximadamente lineal.

La multicolinealidad dificulta distinguir aportes de cada X.
