Explicación

Si se consumen 3 de 8 partes, restan 5 partes del total original.

En las fracciones impropias el numerador es mayor o igual que el denominador.

Si multiplicas el numerador y denominador de 1/2 por 5, obtendrás 5/10, es decir, tienes que multiplicar arriba y abajo por el mismo número.

El primer número mencionado es el numerador y el segundo indica el tipo de partes.

12÷6=2 y 18÷6=3.

Como 3 x 3= 9, debemos multiplicar el numerador por 3; 2x3=6

El denominador indica en cuántas partes iguales se divide la unidad.

Al dividir la unidad en más partes (8), cada parte individual es más pequeña.

Al sumar fracciones con igual denominador, se suman los numeradores y se mantiene el denominador.
