المحيط = 2×(الطول + العرض) = 2×(5+8)=26 سم.

المساحة = الطول × العرض = 9×4 = 36 سم².

2×(7+3)=2×10=20 سم.

6×5=30 سم².

المحيط = 2×(الطول + العرض)، أي مجموع أطوال الأضلاع الخارجية.

2×(12+3)=2×15=30 سم.

8×2=16 سم².

المساحة = الطول × العرض.

المحيط يحسب بجمع أطوال أضلاع المستطيل كما في 2×(الطول+العرض).

محيط = 2×(4+7)=22؛ مساحة = 4×7=28.

محيط المربع = 4 × طول الضلع.

محيط المستطيل = 2 × (الطول + العرض).

محيط أي مثلث = مجموع أضلاعه.

المثلث متساوي الأضلاع = 3 × طول الضلع.

محيط شبه المنحرف = مجموع جميع الأضلاع.

محيط الدائرة = 2πر؛ هنا 2×π×7 = 14π.

جمع الأضلاع الثلاثة يعطي المحيط.

يُساوي 3+4+5=12.

خماسي منتظم: محيطه = 5 × طول الضلع.

المحيط يتغير بمقدار 4 سم لأن المحيط = 4×الضلع في المربع الجديد.
