Seno e cosseno usam hipotenusa; tangente usa o cateto oposto sobre adjacente.

O seno de 90° é igual a 1.

Na hipotenusa^2 igual soma dos quadrados dos catetos.

As recíprocas são Cosecante (1/seno), Secante (1/cosseno), Cotangente (1/tangente).

A soma dos quadrados de seno e cosseno é sempre 1.

Sen π/6 é igual a 1/2 no círculo unitário.
