Una mitad es 1 de 2 partes iguales.

Divides numerator y denominador entre 2.

Compara: 3/5 = 0.6 y 4/7 ≈ 0.571.

Divide entre 3: 9/12 = 3/4.

Quedan 8−5 = 3 partes de 8.

Fracción propia tiene numerador < denominador.

2/5 = 0.4, 1/2 = 0.5; 2/5 es menor, pero pregunta comparar; corregir: 1/2 es mayor.
