El narrativo es propio de relatos. Los otros tipos se enfocan en descripción, información o persuasión.

El objetivo del texto argumentativo es defender una postura. Los demás buscan contar historias, describir o informar.

El dialogado simula una conversación. El narrativo cuenta la acción, el descriptivo describe y el expositivo informa.
