Explicación

El límite es el valor al que se aproxima la función cuando x se aproxima a a; no siempre es el valor en a ni una media o derivada.

Se aplica siempre que lim f y lim g existan; si alguno no existe, la igualdad puede fallar.

La derivada mide cuánto cambia la función en un punto, no su integral ni media de valores.

La derivada de una composición es f'(g(x)) multiplicado por g'(x).

La integral definida acumula área; no da volumen ni tasas de cambio ni pendientes.

Continuidad: lim f(x) = f(a) y f está definida en a; no implica necesariamente derivabilidad.

El teorema del extremo garantiza existencia de extremos en un continuo en [a,b].
