Explicación

El ajedrez es un juego de mesa de 2 jugadores.

El tablero es de 8x8 casillas, es decir 64 en total.

Las blancas realizan la primera jugada.

Cada bando dispone de 16 piezas: 1 Rey, 1 Dama, 2 Torres, 2 Alfiles, 2 Caballos y 8 Peones.

Esta compuesto por filas del 1 al 8 y columnas de la A a la H.

El tablero esta compuesto por 64 casillas, 32 blancas y 32 negras.

El ajedrez consta de 32 piezas en total (16 blancas y 16 negras).

Cada jugador posee un total de 8 peones.

Cada jugador posee 2 torres.

Un jugador posee dos alfiles en un juego de ajedrez.

El objetivo del juego es capturar al rey rival (jaque mate).

Surgió en Asia, posiblemente en la india, como chaturanga.

El ajedrez es una herramienta fundamental para el desarrollo cognitivo, emocional y social.
