Explicación

Uso correcto del si-condicional con were + would + verbo base.

Debe usarse pasado simples en la cláusula 'If' (st udied) para el segundo condicional.

Estructura correcta: If + past simple, would + base verb.

Forma estándar: were + would + verbo.

El 'if' debe ir en pasado simple: If they came...

Debería ser 'an island' con artículo adecuado.

En segundo condicional, la segunda cláusula usa 'would', pero la primera debe ir en pasado simple: If you heated ice, it would melt.

Ejemplo correcto: If + past simple, would + base verb.
