جمع التكسير هو جمعٌ لكلمات لا تقبل زيادة علامة بناء على المفرد وتغير الوزن دون نقله إلى قالب محدد.

كلمة كتب هي جمع تكسير لكلمة كتاب وتغير في الوزن دون اتباع نمط جمع سالم.

طلاب جمع سالم من الوزن، ليس جمع تكسيـر.

جمع التكسير لا يلتزم بنظام التعريف أو التأنيث مثل جمع المؤنث السالم، وهو غير منتظم في الوزن.

مدارس جمع تكسير من كلمة مدرسة، وتغير الوزن دون اتباع جمع سالم.
