1

What is the interior angle of a regular hexagon (6 sides)?

2

Find the exterior angle of a regular octagon (8 sides).

3

A regular polygon has an interior angle of 140°. How many sides does it have?

4

A regular polygon has an exterior angle of 24°. How many sides does it have?

5

If a regular polygon’s interior angle is 108°, how many sides does it have?

Feedback

For a regular polygon, interior angle = (n−2)×180/n. (6−2)×180/6 = 720/6 = 120.

Exterior angle = 360/n. 360/8 = 45°.

n = 360/(180−interior). 360/(180−140) = 360/40 = 9 sides.

Exterior angle = 360/n. 360/24 = 15 sides.

n = 360/(180−108) = 360/72 = 5 sides.
