An APK file is the format used to install apps on Android devices. While perfectly normal, scammers use them to deliver malware (malicious software).

National Scam Response Centre (NSRC) is a official hotline which is managed by the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) and works directly with banks and telecommunications providers. The line operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (including public holidays).
