Nivel 1: En tu región, el control político está en manos de un jefe político tradicional (un "cacique"). Él es quien decide quién recibe ayudas del gobierno, quiénes consiguen empleos en las obras públicas y quiénes mantienen sus contratos de tierras.

Nivel 2: Las autoridades agrarias del paeds esten promoviendo la modernizacifon del campo. Te ofrecen dejar de sembrar tus cultivos habituales de consumo diario (maiz, frijol) para sembrar un nuevo tipo de cafe o algodon altamente cotizado en los mercados internacionales.

Nivel 3: En 1940, las escuelas rurales son escasas y solo enseñen a leer y escribir de forma muy basica. Tu hijo/a mayor demuestra un talento excepcional para las matematicas y la lectura. Un familiar que vive en la ciudad te ofrece recibirlo en su casa para que pueda asistir a un colegio de bachillerato tecnico, pero eso significa que la finca se quedarte sin una fuerza de trabajo vital.
