Las matrices se representan con filas y columnas, no como una lista lineal.

La notación 3x2 indica filas por columnas.

La matriz identidad I_n tiene unos en la diagonal y ceros fuera.

La suma requiere las mismas dimensiones; producto requiere n igual a m para A y B según sus dimensiones.

Transponer A m×n da A^T de n×m, filas por columnas.

La multiplicación resulta en una matriz de dimensiones m×p.

La matriz nula tiene todos sus elementos iguales a 0.
