Feedback

If a future condition is possible, we use will + base form. Other tenses don’t fit the first clause.

Unreal or hypothetical present uses would + base verb. 'were' signals contrafactual condition.

Third conditional uses had + past participle in the if-clause.

First conditional expresses real future possibility with will in main clause.

Zero conditional uses present simple in both clauses for facts.

Mixed/second-type idea: past condition with would + base verb in result.

In hypothetical second conditionals, use were for all subjects.

Past condition with would + base verb expresses unreal past outcome.

First conditional for possible future event with will + base verb.

In counterfactuals without rain, use would + base verb.
