Explicación

Las aves fueron creadas blancas; luego pidieron colores.

Mulungu accedió a ayudarlas con colores brillantes.

Las aves debían esperar turno pacientemente mientras Mulungu pintaba.

El pájaro ruidoso e impaciente es Manda.

Manda quería atención y no obedecía el turno.

Mulungu dejó de pintar a un ave zancuda y llamó a Manda.

El ave zancuda quedó a medio pintar, por eso tiene patas rojas y alas negras.

Mulungu lo embadurnó de marrón y gris.

A pesar de todo, Manda continúa ruidosa e invitando a Mulungu.
