المطفِّفون هم من يطففون الكيل والميزان عند البيع والشراء ويحاسبون عليه.

السورة تبيّن حال المتطففين وتوعّدهم وتُبيّن جزاء الأبرار والفجار يوم القيامة.

الذين يعملون بالعدل في الكيل والميزان يُسمَّون أصحاب اليمين يوم القيامة.

اليوم يُوزن فيه العمل وتجزى الأفعال، وهو يوم الفصل بين الناس.
