Sebelum shalat berjamaah dimulai, kita disunnahkan untuk merapikan dan merapatkan barisan (shaf).

Posisi makmum laki-laki dewasa jika hanya satu orang adalah persis di belakang imam.

Shalat berjamaah minimal dilakukan oleh 2 orang, yaitu 1 imam dan 1 makmum.

Makmum yang terlambat datang dan tertinggal rakaat imam disebut makmum muwafiq.

Membaca kalimat istighfar (Astaghfirullah) merupakan salah satu bacaan zikir setelah shalat.
