Explicación

Un kilómetro son 1000 metros. 100 m es 0.1 km; 10,000 m es 10 km; 1000 cm es 10 m.

Un metro tiene 100 centímetros; 10 cm o 1000 cm corresponden a otras longitudes.

3 km equivalen a 3000 m. 300 m es 0.3 km; 30,000 m es 30 km.

5 km = 5000 m. 5 m o 50 m son fracciones de esa distancia.

2 m = 200 cm. 2000 cm serían 20 m.

250 cm = 2.5 m; 25 m sería 2500 cm.

Para objetos de tamaño medio como una cancha, se usa metros.

1 km = 1000 m; 1500 m es mayor.

25 cm = 0.25 m; 2.5 m sería 250 cm.
