Explicación

Los tics son movimientos o sonidos breves, repetitivos e involuntarios que pueden suprimirse temporalmente.

Los tics se clasifican en motores (movimientos) y vocales (sonidos).

La mayoría de los tics comienzan durante la niñez, entre los 4 y 12 años.

CBIT (Terapia Conductual para interrupción de tic) es eficaz para aprender a manejar los tics.

En algunos casos, los tics forman parte del Síndrome de Tourette.
