D = b^2 - 4ac = (-4)^2 - 4(1)(-5) = 16+20 = 36.

Rumus standard: x = [-b ± sqrt(b^2-4ac)]/(2a).

Faktor (x-4)(x+1)=0.

(x+1)^2=0 -> akar tunggal x = -1.

Diskriminan D = 16 - 20 < 0, jadi tidak real.

D = 2^2 - 4(1)(-3) = 4 + 12 = 16.

Faktor persamaan menjadi dua faktor linear.

2x(x-4)=0 → x=0 atau x=4.
