Explicación

En la pasiva, el objeto de la activa se convierte en el sujeto de la pasiva.

Se usa 'was' para pasado simple en voz pasiva; además indica que la acción fue realizada.

En pasiva, a veces el agente se omite si no es relevante.

La pasiva usa 'be' + pasado participio: 'are published'.

Usa 'was' + pasado participio, típico del pasado simple en pasiva.

Con 'novel' singular, se usa 'is translated' en presente pasivo.

La estructura típica es objeto + be + participio, a veces con 'by' para el agente.

La pasiva continua usa 'be' en -ing: 'is being written'.

Frecuencia se expresa al final; la oración ya está en pasiva presente.

Cuando no se sabe o no interesa el agente, se omite 'by ...'.
